We had 25 people in attendance at our WAC annual prayer, vision, and planning get together! Thank you Laurence & Jessica Black Coppedge for the gracious use of your home and the delicious Indian food & cake with peach ice cream! Thanks to Rick & Christy Durrance & Benjamin Snyder in planning & leading along with Hule. Thank you to everyone who took time & energy to come and participate! There was a lot of enthusiasm and hope for new things ahead: small groups, get togethers, hospitality ideas, discipleship lectures, etc.! The theme was how we are like an Estuary environment—a delicate & productive ecosystem where rivers meet the sea with inland waterways & tidal flows in and out. The scriptures read & prayed over were Psalm 32 (a picture & process of a free life) and Isaiah 55 (a picture of abundant life.). Key words & phrases included Holy Leisure, “Asser”—a Hebrew world for Happy, Trusted Structure, Generous Order & Anglican Sacramental. Lord, we watch and wait and step into what You have planned for us at Wilmore Anglican Church this year!
